So hard to argue when it's books he wants to keep. :) We used reading to get out of trouble a lot when I was growing up. "Oh sorry mom, I didn't hear you ask me to empty the dishwasher- I was reading." "Oh sorry I'm up so late, I couldn't put my book down." We really were reading but I think our hearing was a little better than we claimed.
Here's a shoto of only half of Jakob's books. We're trying to purge and donate. It's not easy when he wants to keep EVERY book.

that's a job in itself girl....lotsa luck!!! i go through the kids stuff when they're not around. otherwise we would never get rid of anything!
